Heart of God in India

We are so thrilled to see the Hand of God at work in India! Thanks to your prayers and support, the ministry is taking form and already doing the work of the Lord.

Because of your selfless giving and committed prayers, the leper colony is now in the process of moving. As you can well imagine, this isn't a task they could take upon themselves since their diseased bodies have robbed them of the ability to care for themselves. They have been in prayer that God would send someone to help and He has! The colony of 32 lepers in 15 families is overwhelmed with the response from those of you who felt the tender call of God to help alleviate some of their suffering. We are working with Pastor T. Prabhakar Rao to develop a strategy for ministry in India. We have identified some very aggressive goals that is requiring some careful and prayerful decisions. We would love to know that you are joining with us as we identify the most critical needs and plan our approach to meet these needs. We will communicate our detailed plans and timeline to you as it is confirmed in the hearts of the leadership.

There is, however, one need that is most critical -- one that we are sharing with you for your prayerful consideration. Pastor T. Prabhakar Rao has identified twelve pastors who are under his spiritual authority and close supervision that are in need of monthly support from this ministry. Their needs are so much greater than what we can imagine and yet they ask

so little. It has been determined that each pastor should need to receive a monthly commitment of $12.00 in order to provide for his family's most basic needs so that he can focus on ministry, serving his village and sharing the Gospel with the lost.

Twelve pastors at $12.00 per month is all they ask and yet that is a big commitment for this ministry since we don't have a "donor base" of monthly support we can rely on and we certainly don't have a large bank account.

Would you consider "adopting" one pastor for $12.00/month? Or, perhaps your Sunday School class would consider sponsoring one pastor. Maybe your women's Bible Study class or your men's monthly breakfast meeting ... maybe your neighborhood association, maybe your office or your church or your organization. Maybe there is a small group of people you know who would pledge $12.00 per month to sponsor one pastor in India.

Please pray and ask the Lord how you can help. This request isn't being made of you to pressure you or to provide luxuries for these men. These men live sacrificial lives in homes furnished with barely nothing, eating rice and meal as their main food, sustaining their families on only what they receive from their churches--churches filled with people as poor or poorer than they.

By sponsoring a pastor, you are touching the lives of everyone they touch, ministering the love of Christ to everyone they minister to, and showing them that God has not forgotten them but is most interested in making provision of the most necessary things in life as they continue to live sanctified lives, set apart for God's purposes.

Women of PASSIONS in Kenya

Women of PASSIONS in Kenya We are so blessed to have an opportunity once again to minister in Kenya this July. Plans are underway for our trip -- establishing our itinerary and identifying areas where we are needed most.

This summer there will be three of us traveling to Kenya. We will be able to move quickly from one region to the next to cover as much area as possible with children's crusades and women's conferences and evangelistic meetings. As you know, the needs in Kenya are great, especially in the remote villages where few evangelists take the time to go. It is a difficult trip and we are called upon to sacrifice our comfort and conveniences in order to enjoy the privilege of ministering and seeing the Kingdom of God grow and encouraged and strengthened.

Please pray for us as we continue with our plans. Pray for our ministry partners in Kenya, that God will give them wisdom as they set our itinerary. Pray for the people who we will meet and greet with the message of salvation and the hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Pray for our travel, that our physical bodies will endure the trip, that our hearts will remain ready at all time to speak forth the message of God to them. Pray for our team as we make preparation for this trip, as we prepare our messages to communicate the heart of God to each one we will meet. Most of all, pray for souls to be added to the Kingdom of God, that people will see the pure love of Christ and long to be His, forsaking all other gods and customs that are contrary to the Christian faith.
