One of the words for "pray" comes from the Hebrew word "palal".  The English translation for palal is "to intercede, pray, intreat, make prayer, make supplication."  The word palal literally means to "fall down to the ground in the presence of one in authority pleading a cause."

What is a Palal Partner?Submit a Prayer Request Here

There is a precious woman in the Old Testament who gives us a good example of a prayer warrior, one who found favor in the eyes of the Lord and whose prayer the Lord honored.

1 Samuel 1:10-20
"In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD. . . . As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard . . . "I was pouring out my soul to the LORD." . . . Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him." She said, "May your servant find favor in your eyes." Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast. Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the LORD and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah lay with Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her. So in the course of time Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, "Because I asked the LORD for him."

God hears the prayers of those who fervently pray, who have purpose in their prayers, and who are relentless in prayer. Hannah's story bears this out without a doubt! Hannah, as a result of her thankfulness to the Lord's answer to her prayer, gave the "answer" back to the Lord as she took Samuel to the temple to live there and to be taught by the priests. Samuel grew to be a great prophet and was used mightily of the Lord.

In the scripture referenced above, the word used for pray as Hannah prayed before the Lord is translated from the Hebrew word palal. The English translation for palal is "to intercede, pray, intreat, make prayer, make supplication."  The word palal literally means to "fall down to the ground in the presence of one in authority pleading a cause."

A Palal Partner is one who prays, who who has purpose in their prayers, and who is relentless in prayer.  A Palal Partner is devoted to prayer for Heart of God International Ministries and its Network of ministries.  A Palal Partner is not only dedicated to pray for this ministry, but for all the needs sent in for prayer.

We Believe in the Power of Prayer

Jesus said, "If two or three are gathered together in my name there am I in the midst of them." The words "gathered together," literally mean "led together." Jesus also said, "If two or three can agree as touching anything, they shall ask and it shall be done." In this passage, the word "agree" is from the Greek word "sunphoneo" meaning to "say the same thing." From this we derive the English word for symphony. Together, our prayers must be harmonious (in agreement) to be effective.

We have prayers requests that come through the Heart of God International Ministries network of ministries while we often have very special prayer requests coming in through email and even mailed to us. Often times, however, we don't feel free to share these openly because of their sensitive nature. We have developed this special prayer ministry to cover these prayer needs and we need your help!

If you have felt a call to prayer and intercession, would you please consider joining our prayer team by becoming a Palal Partner? If you have a heart to pray for the needs of people, becoming a Palal Partner will allow you to join together with other prayer warriors and intercessors who share the same passion for prayer.

As Palal Partners you will also agree to pray for the ongoing and ongrowing ministry of Heart of God International Ministries. We thank you for this commitment and praise the Lord that fruit born from this ministry will be laid to your account as you faithfully labor in prayer for all the various aspects of this ministry. We will keep you up to date with upcoming ministry events and outreaches as well as share with you the specific needs of the ministry.

Our goal is to see this Palal Partner ministry grow as we enlist believers from all over to pray for Heart of God International Ministries and the network of affiliated ministries.

Please encourage your family and friends, members of your churches and women's ministry groups, to join us for this vital outreach of this ministry. Let people know that there is a growing company of men and women who take their call to prayer and intercession very seriously and will pray for their needs.
